NYX Cosmetics, Coastal Scents and why I love makeup.
Well, I did it again. I purchased a few more items to add to my tiny collection of make up. It’s understandable that I would need to purchase this many items in such a short amount of time, right? To be fair, most of the items I owned were from about seven years ago. Did you know that Urban Decay primer will eventually dry up and become a sticky paste? Who needs Elmer’s glue! Not this chick! Maybelline Holographic Color Show in Lavender Luster swatch!
Just wanted to post a quick photo of a new nail polish I bought about a week ago. I scored a Maybelline Holographic Color Show in Lavender Luster for just $0.88 at Target. I love, love, love this new polish of mine. It goes on extremely smoothly, the formula doesn’t clump and it’s not watery. It’s a versatile polish that can be used day or night. I love them so much that I’m hoping my Target has a few more lying around somewhere. The regular price on these polishes are $3.99 so if you see them at the store at a discounted price, I suggest you grab them before they are gone! A good friend of mine scored two of these beauties for $1.49 each which is still an amazing price. Always, always, always scour your Target clearance sections for hidden finds! Can’t wait to go again and see what other treasures I can dig up!

Mary Kay moisturizer, ELF brushes and primer, Philosophy cleanser and knowing you’re beautiful.
I have a confession. It’s shocking, appalling and unheard of! I’m a 28 (almost 29) year old and I have never owned a good facial moisturizer. I’ve recently become quite obsessed with the world of beauty and makeup. It is so vast and beyond any type of expectations I had when I started. It dawned on me that I’ve been using hand cream and sometimes even foot cream as my primary facial moisturizer. That’s not okay. After some research I discovered I have combination to oil skin. My cheeks are normally dry and flaky and my t-zone is normally oily. Last night I scoured Amazon and other beauty blogs for the best product. Continue reading
